‘Pop-Up’ Theatre – Theatre in all shapes and sizes

Using clever stagecraft and limitless possibilities of imagination, we provide unique, ground-breaking one hour innovative ‘pop-up’ theatrical productions, based on classic, well-loved stories. We bring the theatre to you! Our ‘pop-up’ performances will create intimate settings to draw audiences into a magical world. These exciting productions of will show children, young people and adults alike that theatre is spontaneous and can ‘pop-up’ anywhere.

Educational Activity Packs

Designed to give students a hands-on understanding of how to create characters through puppetry and physicality; the one hour workshop gives a taste of the devising process through which the characters in our productions come to life. The workshops are run by Magic Light Productions’ practitioners, who have worked as performers and puppeteers in the production. We provide FREE education packs on request, that offer classroom activities, which are inspired by our production and feed into the national curriculum, to complement your school’s ‘pop-up’ theatrical performance.
