Magic Light Productions is a theatrical production company producing live theatre shows and offering specialised workshops, hire services and bespoke prop/set design and build. The magic of an outstanding theatrical experience is at the heart of everything that we do and we are passionate about offering our audiences the highest quality performances together with exceptional production values.
Magic Light Productions was formed in 2009. Between our company and contacts, we have knowledge from all aspects of the business be it light entertainment, the music industry, west end, technical lighting, sound, choreography, costuming, scenery and the list goes on. Our production team provide a quality product and a reliable service every time and are used by many top professional acts and production companies. Be it a variety show, pantomime, corporate event or even a product launch at a trade fair our experience and high production values along with imaginative ideas and technical back up provide you with the product you were looking for.

Producer & Director
Libby spent three years touring with an Outdoor Shakespeare Company performing lead roles in castles and gardens across Wales and North West England from the age of 16, before going on to further training at The Bridge Theatre Training Company in London. She has performed professionally in many theatre productions across the UK for various companies . Libby has gone on to Produce & Direct in many different theatres including The Roundhouse, The Oval and The Ambassadors Theatre in London’s West End.
As part of her producing experience Libby has co-managed and organised events & private parties for many corporate clients. She also has a vast amount of experience organising and performing for children’s parties and family functions covering a wide range of ages. She designs and delivers workshops in drama, puppetry and pantomime for a range of ages and educational needs. Libby also writes scripts, makes puppets, props and scenery with Stuart Loughland and together they run Magic Light Productions, who have successfully produced the pantomime at Theatr Colwyn since 2010, as well as touring UK theatres with family shows.

Producer & Director
Stuart has been involved professionally with the entertainment industry over the past 34 years as an Actor, Singer, Dancer, followed by his 10 year career in the music industry with numerous recording bands and then on to appear as half of the successful illusion act Safire. It was during the latter years in Safire that he discovered his flair for production and is proud to have put on so many different styles of shows over the past number of years. He has worked extensively all over the world and has a vast amount of experience and an extensive knowledge of the entertainment industry having been involved with so many different aspects of it.
He has worked with many top entertainers over his career including Ken Dodd, Peter Kay, Joe Pasquale, Danny La Rue, Billy Pearce, Frank Carson, Johnnie Casson, Stu Francis, The Chuckle Brothers, Jimmy Cricket, Keith Harris, Cannon and Ball, The Rolypolys, Ian Lavender, Mick Miller, Paul Crone, Hinge and Bracket, Bernie Clifton, Keith Harris, David Lonsdale, Bucks Fizz, Ted Rodgers, The Bachelors, The Grumbleweed’s, The Nolans, Surranne Jones, Bobby Crush, Ray Alan and the list goes on. As well as directing & producing, Stuart makes puppets and builds scenery, props and illusions. He has made commissions that have been used in professional productions in theatre and television all over the world. Stuart runs Magic Light Productions along with Libby Loughland, producing pantomimes and family shows across the UK.
