THE streets of Colwyn Bay will be paved with snow this Christmas in dazzling panto Dick Whittington.
A white Christmas is on the cards for Theatr Colwyn in 12 nights of traditional vaudeville spectacle for the whole family, from Saturday, December 22.
Written by and starring seasoned veterans Libby Edwards and Stuart Loughland, expect another breathtaking showcase of expertly staged slapstick comedy, song and dance along with the added variety of magnificent puppetry, magic and illusions.
Edwards said: “Our version of Dick Whittington sticks somewhat to the traditional plot – however it wouldn’t be a Magic Light Productions panto if we didn’t steer slightly off at certain parts.
“We don’t want to reveal too much – but there will be a very festive scene that plays out involving penguins and we will be bringing snow to Theatr Colwyn!”
